An ideal choice for leisure and adventure
Velebit
Velebit is the longest (145km) mountain in Croatia, only 2km from Maslenica. It is a natural barrier between the Continental and Mediterranean Croatia. The mountain is well marked with hiking trails which is a must see place for true nature lovers, hikers and climbers.
Close to Maslenice is peak Sveto brdo 1752m, Crnopac 1402m and Tulova Greda 1120m. This part of Velebit is perfect for mountain bike rides and organized off-road excursions. The area Tulove Greda and river Zrmanja are famous for the cult movie Winnetou (1962) and the remake (2015).
Zrmanja
Only 2km away from Apartments Zen is the 69 kilometers long Zrmanja river. In the summer it is a favorite gathering place for swimmers and hikers. Known beaches and beautiful waterfalls are located 15 minutes by car from the Apartment Zen. Zrmanj is well known by its beautiful color and numerous waterfalls which are 11 meters high. It is an excellent destination for adventurers as it is suitable for rafting, kayaking and SUP boarding.

Paklenica
At the southern slopes of Velebit mountain there is an entrance to the National park Paklenica which is located only 10km from Apartments Zen. The most attractive and most valuable parts of south Velebit are surely the impressive canyons of Velika Paklenica and Mala Paklenica.
Paklenica is world-famous destination for climbers. Hundreds of kilometers of trails are a perfect choice for walking, hiking and mountain biking.
Zadar
Zadar is located in the heart of the Adriatic. One of the most popular Croatian tourist destinations will amaze you with its special atmosphere and rich life. As a city-monument surrounded by historical city walls, Zadar is a treasure trove of archaeological monuments of ancient, medieval and Renaissance periods.
